About Blue Wave Booster Club
The Blue Wave Booster Club was formed to:
Support the athletic programs at Darien High School for the physical development and betterment of its students.
To foster sportsmanship and school spirit among students, parents, teachers, and staff.
To develop an interest in and awareness of the athletics at DHS within the town community
The Board of Directors of the Blue Wave Booster Club (BWBC) is grateful to you, our members, for your generous contributions which have enabled the BWBC to provide over $438,000 in support of Darien High School since inception. The BWBC was formed to raise money to fund the "wants" of the DHS athletic teams and to foster sportsmanship and school spirit among students, parents, teachers and staff. The DHS athletic Department budget supplies essential equipment necessary to manage the athletic programs. However, many teams have additional and customary needs that exceed their respective budgets. The financial support of the Booster Club Members through their annual donations helps grant those requests. We cannot do this without your support. If you are already a member of the BWBC, thank you. If you haven't yet joined the organization, we encourage you to do so today and to join us, "the team behind our teams!"

The Booster Club pays for and GIVES the posters to local businesses provided local businesses agree to display the posters in a prominent location. To this end it is always helpful if members of the booster club could volunteer to help distribute the posters to the local businesses that want to take part. At the conclusion of the season, players are asked to volunteer to collect the posters and keep them as a memento to encourage recycling. If players want additional copies, or a larger format reproductions, they can order additional copies from:

Answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Is this going to cost me any money? No, the only cost is if you want additional copies.
Who is paying for this project? Local business sponsors and private donations are paying for the cost of the paper, ink and printing. In exchange for shouldering the cost of this project, the Booster Club is allowing sponsors to display their names and logos on the poster.
PLEASE NOTE: This project is in no way, shape or form affiliated with the Darien School System or Board of Education.
Is anyone profiting from this? No, this is a spirit building exercise. The intent is to build awareness for the sports teams, Blue Wave Booster Club and local sponsors (who are paying for paper, ink and printing).
Where will the posters be displayed? Local businesses that agree to display the posters for the season in a prominent location.
